things that suck: when you arrive on time to your appointment yet there are NINE people in front of you. NINE. the only thing that makes this tolerable are some decent (and recent!) mags in the packed waiting area.

i haven’t had one in FOREVER..which is rather impressive given the crappy immune systems that sis and i have. i suppose one picks up less germs when they aren’t around others in an office all day long.
a robe, some movies, russian literature, a box (or two) of tissues, and my beloved rooibos tea will get me through the day.

a little known fact about me is that i own a disco ball. as i believe sissy previously mentioned on here somewhere, we threw a disco party for my 26th birthday, and finding our apartment lacking in 70’s style, we immediately ordered a ball for the occasion. and as we’ve yet to have another occasion that warrants one (although, really, doesn’t every?), it remains safely in a box...

the problem with having fallen madly in love with some slightly obscure french perfume is that when it’s out of stock on the few websites that appear to carry it, and the boutique in brooklyn that did carry it no longer does, you are forced to smell like someone else for a few months. le torture! i need to start wearing a fragrance that sephora carries.
